Fair Resource Foundation is looking for an intern to support our communication & campaign team, in particular with activities for our social media channels on Instagram and LinkedIn, for various projects and campaigns, including our work on disposable packaging, fast fashion, electronics and fossil plastic.
About Fair Resource Foundation
Away with the throwaway economy is our credo. Fair Resource Foundation is an ambitious NGO with a sustainable mission. We aim to reduce resource use, so that it fits within the carrying capacity of the Earth and its ecosystems. At the Dutch, Belgian and European level, we stimulate political debate, mobilise public pressure, influence policy, conduct research and system analyses, and build coalitions.
Some of our successes include the introduction of deposits on small plastic bottles and cans in the Netherlands, putting a ban on cigarette filters on the agenda, and setting up the sustainable producer organisation Collectief Circulair Textiel. In our policy plan you can read about our plans for the coming years. For us, it is all about making an impact. We want to see concrete changes and we are always looking for smart angles to achieve them. Where possible, we focus on collaboration, and when necessary, we tackle polluting companies.
We are currently a team of 15 and are located in Utrecht in the inspiring UCo building, where several sustainable organisations gather in a community. You will work closely with the three colleagues in the communication team.

You will monitor and analyse the results of our social media channels.
You will help develop online campaigns.
You will help with web editing, such as editing and publishing news articles.
